Person in a white shirt sits on a golden hillside at sunset, looking up peacefully. Rolling hills and trees are visible in the background.

hi there, i’m lauren.

this is my unofficial official blog / living portfolio / digital junk drawer / proof of life – that i'm choosing to call live immediately, which is both a reminder and a challenge to myself.

i’ve spent a lot of my life waiting. waiting until i felt ready. waiting until things made sense. waiting until the timing was right, the fear was quieter, the grief was smaller, the version of me i wanted to be had fully arrived.

and then life did what it does and reminded me waiting is not a guarantee.

so instead of waiting, i’m choosing to live. and i'm choosing to do so immediately. imperfectly. honestly. sometimes beautifully, sometimes messily, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly. and this space is where i’ll document it.

you’ll find posts about music i can’t stop listening to, films that crack me open, art that makes me want to be brave, meals that feel like home, places i travel to (both physically and mentally), and the strange but often wondrous moments making up a life lived intentionally. a life ever evolving.

this isn’t a highlight reel. nor a how-to guide. and it’s definitely not a polished brand manifesto (though it might accidentally become one someday). it’s a breathing documentation of a human being who's gone through some major shit, figuring it all out in real time.

all this to say, i’m here because i believe paying attention is an act of love. documenting a life is a form of meaning-making. creating — writing, filming, noticing, romanticizing — helps one stay awake inside their own days. and because i want to remember what it felt like to be here, in this exact season, before it slips into the past.

maybe you also feel like life moves too fast. or too slow. or both at once. maybe you’re rebuilding something. maybe you’re searching for beauty. maybe you just like to watch people live and think, oh. me too.

whatever it is, i'm just glad you're here.

this space will change as i do. the only real rule is i show up honestly and live immediately — even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it’s tender, even when i don’t know exactly where it’s all going.

especially then.

alright, kids. let's live.
